I have attended a total of 8 different school in my time from kindergarten to my senior year of senior high school. I went to a private school, home school, public school, magnet school and everything in between. I have dealt with moving school countless times, and my parents helped me along the way. If it weren't for all of their help, then it would've been so difficult for me to adjust and make a transition.

In elementary school, we had to sell our house fast because my parents were facing foreclosure, which forced us to move somewhere that had cheaper places to live. We only moved 20 minutes down the road, but it was a difficult thing because I had to leave all my friends! I didn't want to leave all my friends, and I didn't quite understand what was going on or what "foreclosure" was.

My parents did a great job of explaining it to me on a level that a kid could understand. They took me out for ice cream after we moved, and we played outside as a family. They made me a priority after this move. It was really what helped me move from the state of sadness and fearfulness after leaving our old house to having thoughts about how fun the move was and how excited I was to meet my new friends in my new school.

The school you move to is another important factor. When you buy a house, you need to make sure that it's in a good school district because if not then your kids will have a very difficult time adjusting to that new environment. If you can make sure that you're moving to a good school district, that's really half of the battle.

So in short, make sure you focus on your kids!!! Make them your top priority because they will feel loved and secure when mom and dad are giving them their undivided attention. If you need some help with maybe moving or anything like that, here is a good real estate blogging site that gives some good tips about general real estate! When you go to that site, just click to blog tab and they'll all be there!
