These two girls are heading to college next Fall and their friendship is just as sweet as the enormous waffles, with ice cream and whipped cream placed in front of them...

They have been best friends since first grade and, as a mom, watching them grow along side each other the past twelve years has been a gift.

They have found in each other the comfort of home, outside of their family, and that is a blessing we can all only wish for...

May we all be blessed to feel unconditional support and validation, even during those moments we may be wrong...

May we all be blessed to feel uncontrollable laughter over nothing at all...

May we all be blessed to feel joy from our friend’s accomplishments and never feel a twinge of jealousy...

May we all be blessed to feel our six year old selves dropping in to say hi every now and then,during the awkward teenage years ,and to belly laugh through the drama together...

May we all be blessed to giggle on a snow day, while cruising down a hill together on a sled made for one, screaming our heads off...

May we all be blessed to share stories while sipping on hot chocolate with mini marshmallows...

May we all be blessed to find that friend who will spend hours dancing in the kitchen together...

May we all be blessed knowing it’s ok to be silent, words aren’t always necessary...

May we all be blessed with a friend who indulges in cinnamon rolls and makes up a song and dance celebrating the delicious decadence...

May we all be blessed feeling comforted by a song blasting on the radio, with wind in our hair, and belting out the wrong lyrics...

May we all be blessed with a friend who provides comfort, during teenage heartbreak, with a bag of mini peanut butter cups...

May we all be blessed with a bond like the one these two sweet girls have for one another...

And even though they will soon live their separate lives, may their love for one another remain, though the miles will separate them...

May they remain true to each other while meeting new friends, cheering each other on while engaging in new experiences...

May they share their journey with each other as the other one holds on tight and goes along for the ride...

May they hold close to their heart how truly blessed they are to forever be best friends...

Friends, one of my most cherished blessings is being witness to their friendship...
