Or just as likely, we’ve got questions and you’ve got answers.

Do my kids see me?

Or, do they see a live-in

maid,
launderer,
cook,
housekeeper,
biscuit and booger-wiper?

Some days I surely wonder.

One day,

I think

(I hope)

(I pray)

that they will see me as someone, who kept it together, or, at minimum, always put herself back together, whatever the challenges of the day.

And, that through all of it, they never EVER, not once, questioned my unconditional love for and support of them.

Of course, it would be great for my kids to see me as

a hardworking woman who busts her arse every day,

but even if they never see me like that or acknowledge my efforts,

I will still know that I am.

And, by way of those kind, gregarious, joyful and giving souls I birthed, so will the world.

Yep, without a doubt, I will be noticed -- as the fantastic beast of human that I am -- by way of the children I've brought into this world and the goodness I have raised that exudes from their beings.

And the same goes for you.

You sure may wonder (often) if your kids see you and perhaps they do, or maybe they don't, but, regardless, I see you, and you're doing amazing.
