Many women consider all home pregnancy tests to be the same. While the basic work of a pregnancy test should be the same but not all pregnancy tests are created equal. (ie: the more expensive ones have digital panel to show you the result). A cheaper pregnancy test like the family dollar (cost about $1) can be friendly to your purse especially if you need to do multiple test. They are also easily available and easy to use. No complicated instruction to follow.

All pregnancy tests are design to detect the Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (hCG) hormone found in women who are pregnant. As soon as a woman conceives, the body begins to produce this hormone. Here is a funny and short YouTube video showing how a pregnancy test works.

So far, there have been very few results from the family dollar pregnancy test that are considered incorrect. The accuracy is above 90%. A research online found out that many women are satisfy with the family dollar pregnancy test. Anyhow, for a pregnancy test work properly, it also depends on how accurate the test was performed and how early urine was tested. For instant, if you tested too early (miss period for a week), there might not have enough hCG hormones for the kit to detect or taking a test at night which is not recommended, or using an expired pregnancy test can impact the test result. So, all in all, a cheaper pregnancy test definitely can get the job done well too. So, what kind of pregnancy test brand you use?
