Parents, you’ve got questions, we’ve got answers.

Or just as likely, we’ve got questions and you’ve got answers.

This little girl has come so far in the year she’s had, (so far), at pre-K.

She went from a child who plays quietly in a corner, to a child who has friends and adores her friends.

She is so kind and loving, and always concerned for the well being of others. She’s smart! More than I know how to handle, sometimes. She loves science, and is getting close to being a reader.

She asks every single day when she can go to kindergarten.

Last night, we drove by her preschool, and waved a final goodbye, as we discussed why she likely wouldn’t be able to go back to school this year, and why she might not see those friends again. (She’s going to a different school in the fall.)

I'm so proud of her. I’m proud because she’s done well in her first year in “school,” but more proud because she’s proven to be a good friend and respectful student.

Happy pre-K graduation, my oldest baby, my love, my Alice.
