Amber Coleman-Mortley
Amber Coleman-Mortley is the Director of Social Engagement at iCivics, Inc., a nonpartisan, civic education, gaming and classroom resource serving nearly 200,000 teachers and over 5 million students annually. She holds a B.A. in African American Studies from Oberlin College and an M.A. in Media Entrepreneurship from American University School of Communications.
Prior to joining iCivics, Amber was a decorated college athlete and worked for about a decade as a P.E./Health teacher and varsity head coach (Sidwell Friends School). On her blog MomOfAllCapes, she covers practical strategies parents can use in edtech, civics, and social emotional development.
