With gratitude...we are blessed.

With gratitude we say thank you to the doctors and nurses for saving lives, offering words of encouragement, easing the fear, being patient while sleep derived, hungry and thirsty, for your love, compassion, commitment and desire to help the human race, while putting others before your own needs... all to save lives... we are blessed.

With gratitude we say thank you to the those disinfecting and cleaning all hours of the day to keep our loved ones healthy and to ensure our safety...we are blessed.

With gratitude we say thank you to the EMT’s, ambulance Corp, fire department, police force and state troopers for protecting our neighbors while putting your own life at risk yet tying our communities together during this tumultuous time...we are blessed.

With gratitude we say thank you to our teachers for continuing to support, educate and nurture our children while also providing support to your own family, for quickly learning new technology and ways of teaching in order to give our children the structure, routine and comfort they need while also showing them a different side to you as a person and most importantly for your patience and flexibility... we are blessed.

With gratitude we say thank you to our religious clergy for constant prayers, devotion, blessings, glimmers of hope, words of wisdom, words of comfort while mourning, words of faith...we are blessed.

With gratitude we say thank you to friends and neighbors for kind words of encouragement, simple smiles, a wave while walking the neighborhood, for FaceTime cocktail hour, and for an outpouring of love... we are blessed.

With gratitude we say thank you to our loved ones for finding the joy in the simple things while navigating a “new normal”, laughing over board games while dreaming of being with friends, being patient when crankiness takes over, for embracing the togetherness and finding the positive of slowing down and regrouping as a whole... we are blessed.

With gratitude we say thank you for staying home...we are blessed.
