Recently I quit smoking because of my kids.
This has hands down been the best decision of my life. All of my life I have hated smoking. Until (ironically) I started smoking myself.
Quitting is hard but I managed to do it.
In case you're a smoker who has kids, it's important to understand the dangers of second hand smoking on youngsters.
Kids are especially in danger of medical issues surrounding passive smoke.
Studies demonstrate that children of parents who smoke may have:
- An increased danger of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS)
- A more prominent possibility of respiratory contaminations, for example, bronchitis, bronchiolitis and pneumonia
- An increased risk of slower lung development
- An increased risk of middle ear ailments
- An increased risk of wheezing, hacking and shortness of breath
- Higher likelyhood of turning into a smoker themselves
Settling on the choice to stop smoking is the best decision I took for my family.
You may surmise that by smoking outside, you'll dispose of the danger of passive smoking to your kids or others in the home. Notwithstanding, this does not give off an impression of being true.
