Parents, you’ve got questions, we’ve got answers.

Or just as likely, we’ve got questions and you’ve got answers.

'Tis the season for being hard on ourselves.

For everything from our
overeating and underproducing
to our increased drinking and decreased motivation to do anything but
and underproduce --

at work

and at home.

'Tis the season for feeling guilt over our

anxious nature,
up and down moods,
and overspending.

'Tis the season for stressin'

and stressing about stressin'.

But you know what?

'Tis the season to give yourself a mother-effing break.

Heck, 'tis the year to spread grace instead of corona.

'Tis the season to forgo New Year's resolutions and instead resolve to be happy with

who you are,

what you've got,

who you're itching to become,

and the impressive version of you who is riding out a wonky pandemic without a

or map.

Ain't nothing like a covid-Christmas and holiday season to make already

and emotionally rocky people

wonder if they are 'enough' and if they're doing enough for others and those they love.

Here's a reminder that, right now, 'tis the season to accept that you're very imperfect self is doing a very perfect job of navigating this wild season.

‘Tis the season to celebrate all that you are and all that you have accomplished, ‘cause it’s a lot.
