I knew about colic and prayed my baby didn't have it but I never heard of the witching hour where it's a time of day everyday that the baby just cries and cries and cries. I remember my son being not even a month old and every night at 9pm for weeks he would jUst screaming. No amount of soothing, feeding or rocking helped. My husband and I would trade off and take turns walking in circles around our dining room table. All we could do was try different ways of holding him or turn on the bathroom vents until he calmed. It's awful hearing your baby cry and nothing you'really doing helps.
