Sometimes the key to keeping things fresh after having kids is to remove yourself from your parental responsibilities for a few days or weeks.

To take it a step further, remove yourself from your geographic location and daily grind so that you're able to really reconnect with each other and yourselves.

There are countless vacation opportunities that you can take advantage of for romance, adventure and solitude.

If you're looking to get out of dodge and recharge your batteries, start by considering these suggestions.

1. Make It A Grownup Vacation

One major issue that parents have is feeling the freedom to actually get out of the mommy and daddy role. You get so caught up in a routine that you forget what it feels like to have adult fun.

To make this happen, consider going to a resort that is for adult couples only. This way, the environment will be filled with romance and bliss, rather than dealing with kids running around and splashing in the pool.

Save those resorts for family vacations, and use this particular trip as a time to reconnect with your spouse in a romantic way.

If you really want to take things up a notch, there are some clothing option resorts that add a bit of sexiness to the entire vacation. Regardless of what sort of vacation you choose, going the all-inclusive route is a great idea.

With an all-inclusive resort vacation, you're able to leave your wallet in the room safe and not worry about paying for a thing. Food and drinks are endless and all of your entertainment is included. You should shop for vacation rates and look for quick and easy loan options that can also help you fund your vacation with no problem.

Above all, be sure that you set the tone by choosing the vacation that will help you release stress and build romance.

2. Dig Deeper And Get Out Of Your Comfort Zone

Whether you're going on a quick weekend trip or want to leave for an extended vacation, make sure that growth is the focus.

The only way you're going to grow is by getting out of your comfort zones.

Read up on a few books related to love, relationships, sex and romance, and consider bringing them with you to enjoy by the pool. Share what you learn from these books and make sure you're shaking up your current paradigms.

Get out of your comfort zone on the vacation as well.

Rather than just sitting in the room, go on excursions and take the time to do things you would never do in your regular, everyday life.

3. Keep It Fun With No Pressure

Above all, remember that fun is the name of the game!

If you're both not having fun, you're missing the point of the vacation.

Instead, take the time to get your kicks without the pressure of schedule and other everyday life frustrations. The more that you let go and allow yourself to go with the flow, the more you'll see those parental stresses melt away.

Follow these tips to build romance with a getaway, so that you can go back home better lovers and even better parents.
