Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood

Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood has been in my 3 year old's life since she was about 10 months old. It was the first show I ever turned on for her.

Yes, we allow our toddler to watch tv sometimes. She has her favorite educational tv shows that she gets to watch, and Daniel Tiger is one of them.

I'm surprised she hasn't grown out of it by now. I guess she's right in the prime age to watch it. It's made for toddlers and preschoolers.

Daniel Tiger was originally part of Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood but the show was re-imagined as a cartoon starring the son of Mr. Rogers' puppet tiger. A lot of the characters were included in Daniel's neighborhood.

I love that there are so many people who work on the show with PhDs and MDs in childhood development and education. You know you're getting quality lessons from actual experts. I don't have to worry about my daughter learning to tease her daddy about his big tummy like Peppa Pig does. She still loves Peppa but I have to keep her away from certain episodes. Every episode of Daniel has been great.

I'm so glad we have all of Daniel's songs to sing to learn little lessons. I've learned so much about parenting from Daniel Tiger. My daughter knows all of his songs and they're great reminders.

We're eternally grateful for the potty songs. It was the only way we could train her. They even have Daniel Tiger apps for teaching your toddler certain lessons. The potty training app was really helpful while she was sitting on her little potty.

She also likes to play pretend games and talk to the characters as if she was in the show. She especially loves playing with her toy Daniel Tiger.

I honestly don't know what I'd do without Daniel Tiger. So thank you to the people who make it.
