My Christmas wish...

*laughter billowing throughout the house

*the warmth of Christmas lights filling hearts with compassion

*an ease to settle over all of us, bringing us peace

*compassion towards others as we look around at all of our blessings

*lots of candy canes (maybe some peanut butter trees too)

*the glimmer of hope through the eyes of a child

*the Christmas spirit to enter our souls and rejoice in all of the beauty

*to speak kinder, softer and with more patience

*more snow days sledding, drinking hot chocolate in front of the fire and playing games

*more snow day calls from school and watching the girls jump and and down screaming with delight

*to open our arms wide to embrace those we love and miss dearly

*cookie making messes and colorful sprinkles crunching under my feet

*the sparkling magic of snow flurries falling

*glitter throughout the house trailing behind wrapped gifts

*Santa’s bell

*believing in the magic of Christmas with childlike wonder

*quiet time with family, however that looks this year, but keeping traditions alive

*letting go of all that has been troublesome the past year and moving forward with reconciliation

*finding space for the new

*loving openly and honestly

*snowball fights

*delighting in the wonder and amazement this season brings into our homes and our hearts...
