Parents, you’ve got questions, we’ve got answers.

Or just as likely, we’ve got questions and you’ve got answers.

I’m trying so hard, I wish they see that.

I want to grow together with you, rather than raise you. I don’t want to control or contain you.

I want to make mistakes with you, and overcome them together, hand in hand.

I want you to teach me to be the person I was meant to be, for you.

I want you to see me reach for the sky, so you know that you can soar.

I want to be wild and free, for you, so you know that you’re nothing less than extraordinary and capable.

I want to show you how to listen with your heart, so you’re always seeing beauty everywhere you look.

I wish you can see yourself through my eyes, purse wonderment and admiration. That’s all I see, that’s what I want you to see.

I want to be so very kind, so you understand that everyone deserves a chance.

I want you to see me challenge myself time and again, so you know that giving up isn’t an option.

I want you to see how much motherhood has taught me, changed me, helped me grow.

I want you to see how motherhood pushes me to be the absolute best version of myself, for you. You’ve given me such purpose.

I want you to see how hard I’m trying.

With every bone in my body, with my whole existence.

I’m trying. For you. Because of you.

Trying to be what you would want me to be.

Trying to be what you need me to be.

Trying to be your inspiration.

Trying to be the mother you deserve and nothing less.

I’m trying to be your world and show you the world and teach you to love the world.

I’m trying to sell you a story of love I see through you, hoping you’ll see it through me.
