Or just as likely, we’ve got questions and you’ve got answers.

I’m the doer of the things —

the wiper of the things that need wiping,

the planner of the things that need to be planned,

the cooker of the things that need to be cooked,

the cleaner of the things that need to be cleaned,

the launderer of the things that need to be laundered,

the cutter of the things that need to be cut,

the driver of the people who need to be driven,

the teacher to those who need to be taught,

the listener to the those who need to be heard,

the helper of those who need help,

the doer for those who need things done,

the giver for those I was blessed to be given.

In other words, I’m a mom.

And though it sure can get tiring, it’s surely a role I’ll never tire of.
