Parents, you’ve got questions, we’ve got answers.

Or just as likely, we’ve got questions and you’ve got answers.

I hope you find your peace,

somewhere in this mess,

in a song on the way to work at the hospital,

in a light-hearted conversation with a patron at your essential store,

during a Zoom with your ever-so-loving and still curious students,

in the eyes of your tired spouse as you pass him/her in the kitchen by the Keurig,

during your nightly walk/run through the neighborhood,

in the funny memes making their rounds across the internet,

from group texts with your family,

on a video 'happy hour' with friends,

while eating take-out and supporting local businesses,

while drowning in episodes of your latest Netflix obsession,

as you’re covered in your kids’ adoring appendages,

as you're cozied up on your couch in the blanket your Nana crocheted for you,

in a warm cup of sleepytime tea,

in a bottle of red,

in the Bible,

in the shower, as you wipe away the day's germs and your tears,

as you listen and lose yourself to music that fills your soul,

when you're standing at least six-feet from the people who fill it, like

your child,

grandparent,

mother,

father,

brother,

sister,

friend,

husband

or wife

and daydreaming about the day you can once again hug them, even contemplating if, at the time, you'll ever let them go again.

I hope you find your peace.

I pray you find your peace.

Some way.

Somehow.

I hope you find your peace.
