Things to do with your family over the holidays that don’t cost a fortune and will leave an imprint on your hearts forever:

🎁 Decorate the house in your pajamas, blaring Christmas music!

🎁 Create and send cards to our military overseas.

🎁 Create and deliver cards and homemade cookies to local fire and police stations.

🎁 Serve as a family at the local soup kitchen.

🎁 Make homemade ornaments for the Christmas tree.

🎁 Have a Little Debbie Christmas Tree hide and seek game — hide the trees and then find/eat them. Because I just want an excuse to eat that magical goodness.

🎁 Take awkward family photos with Santa. Laugh a lot!

🎁 Drive around and look at Christmas lights. Don't forget to bring the cocoa and peppermint coffee for the drive!

🎁 Have a family Christmas movie marathon - don't forget the popcorn!

🎁 Go ice skating as a family.

🎁 Shop for/pack a gift box for Operation Christmas Child and talk to your children about how fortunate we are.

🎁 Go to a live nativity as a family.

🎁 Bake homemade cookies with the kids! Don't forget all the fun edible decorations and let them lick the icing off the spoon.

🎁 Go to the local holiday parade. Wear your ugly Christmas sweaters for funsies.

🎁 Sit around the fire, roast marshmallows and read the Christmas story.

🎁 Leave milk and cookies for Santa on Christmas Eve.

🎁 Make a "Happy Birthday Jesus" cake and sing on Christmas day! ‘Tis the season and He’s the reason!

PS: this was me and my girl watching a Christmas movie — she just couldn’t hang. But it’s now one of my favorite memories and a gift I will treasure forever.🎄

These are the gifts that we need during the hustle and bustle of the season.
