Parents, you’ve got questions, we’ve got answers.

Or just as likely, we’ve got questions and you’ve got answers.

They say childhood goes by with a blink of an eye and that could not be more true. It’s been almost 9 years since my first daughter was born and I can remember every first moment like it was yesterday. Those moments come and go too quick and before we know they are a memory that we will cherish forever.

This year, my parenting resolution is to live in the moment. There is no greater gift we can give to our kids, and ourselves, to live every single day in the present. While our kids need us, being present for ourselves helps us be the best version of ourselves in everything that we do.

It is so easy to get caught up in stressing over what’s to come but before we know it these messy days of chaos are going to be a distant memory, one that we are going to wish we could back to and relive.

Right now our kids need us. They need us to see them, hear them and be there for them.

This year’s resolution is all about embracing the little moments, the messy days, the stressful days, and worrying less about the big moments.
