As busy parents we all sometimes experience the difficulty in planning meals and snacks. Quick is key! Sometimes quick means not nutritious. I'll share how I keep it quick and nutritious.
Here are a few hacks to keep you and your children eating well while at home or on the go!
I try to buy prepacked meals, so I always have them available. Not the kind that have a ton of sodium or other additives to give them shelf life. More like the fresh, already cut, sliced, and everything you need, in one healthy package.
My boys and I are always going on some adventure so rather than feeding them fast food, I will pack something easy to prepare and that is healthy.
Fresh fruit trays are another great way to pack something healthy. My boys will gobble up fruit and there is no guilt on my part. Quick and easy doesn't have to mean bad for you. Prepackaged meals and snacks have come a long way. More affordable than before because parents have demanded better options. For that I'm thankful, and consider this a great parenting hack!
