Dear Mama,

I gave you a strong-willed daughter because this world sure needs her spice, spunk, attitude, and persistence.

I gave you a strong-willed daughter for special purposes and plans – you can’t see them all yet.

I gave you a strong-willed daughter who's confident in who I created her to be.

I gave you a strong-willed daughter for you to grow in love, patience, and understanding.

I gave you a strong-willed daughter whose beaming light will shine among darkness and evil.

I gave you a strong-willed daughter to daily show you my mercy, grace, and forgiveness in the midst of your shortcomings and sins.

I gave you a strong-willed daughter who will grow into a young woman who loves the Lord and cares deeply for people.

I gave you a strong-willed daughter because her voice will help bring hope to the hurting, lonely, and broken.

I gave you a strong-willed daughter for you to learn complete dependence upon me.

I gave you a strong-willed daughter who will do greater things than you have done.

I gave you a strong-willed daughter so you would come to me in your pleading, tears, and constant questions.

I gave you a strong-willed daughter for your joy, delight, and to learn what unconditional love really means.

I gave you a strong-willed daughter who will help take care of you one day.

I gave you a strong-willed daughter because YOU are strong and determined, my dear. I knew you were the perfect mama for her.

Keep persevering. Keep praying. Keep extending love when it hurts. Keep leaning on me when it feels impossible.

I’ve got this.

I Love You,

Jesus
