Parents, you’ve got questions, we’ve got answers.

Or just as likely, we’ve got questions and you’ve got answers.

I don't have one teacher....but several teachers. I am the principal at two Elementary schools in Metropolis, IL. I spend my days at both schools (which are demographically different from each other) I have been doing this for 6 years now and it's the absolute best job in the entire world! I couldn't give up one for the other. I have the absolute BEST teachers in the world! Both schools are like working with families or your best friends! Anyway, in the midst of this corona virus, I wanted to do something special for the teachers..but mostly the staffs in both of my elementary buildings. I sent each individual teacher a word and asked them to write the word down and then take a picture (with them in it) and send it back to me. I told them I was working on something for our students. What I was really working on was something for them. I have attached the videos I created for both schools. Both schools hold such a special place in my heart. I don't know what I would do without amazing people!

Sincerely,

Brooke Durham

Principal at Brookport Elementary and Unity Elementary (Massac County Unit #1 School District)
