Packed with protein and low in sugar, this quick go-to breakfast protein shake is a real crowd pleaser.

Chocolate Almond Protein Shake


  • 2 teaspoons Cocoa powder
  • 1 small Banana
  • 1 Tablespoon Almond butter
  • 1 cup Almond milk
  • 2 Dried dates
  • 2 Tablespoons Protein powder
  • 1 cup Ice


  1. Place the almond butter, protein powder (I use a vanilla flavored one from Whole Foods), cocoa powder, banana, almond milk, dates and ice in a kitchen blender and blend on high until well mixed.
