This protein-packed balsamic ground turkey and apple breakfast hash is a low-carb breakfast option that's Whole30 compliant. Easy and makes great leftovers!

Balsamic Ground Turkey and Apple Breakfast Hash

  • Yield: 4-6 servings
  • Cooking Time: 15 min


  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • ¼ cup balsamic vinegar + 2 tablespoons
  • ½ teaspoon cardamom
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 4 green onions, chopped
  • 1 apple, finely diced (1 ½ cups)


  1. In a large saucepan, add the ground turkey and turn the heat to medium/high Brown the turkey and drain any grease
  2. Turn the heat to low
  3. Add the balsamic, cardamon, salt, green onions, and diced apple. Let cook approximately 5 minutes, until the diced apples softens slightly and mixture is well combined
  4. Serve as is or add a fried egg to top
