I was born and raised on the shores of the Mediterranean in Egypt. My mom loved to cook, and we always had people over. Picture big gatherings from the movie My Big Fat Greek Wedding! Yup, that was my family's home--loud and abundant with people and food. So, I am naturally passionate about food and the Mediterranean lifestyle--a healthy wholesome diet of fresh seasonal vegetables; grains; seafood and lean proteins; olive oil; and a little (or lots of) wine!
Life is busy! And not very many of us have time for kitchen adventures. That’s why I choose to cook very simply--Mediterranean recipes for today’s busy kitchen! I love sharing my recipes and tutorials on my blog and here on TODAY.com.
And I am hoping to cook for you on The TODAY Show very soon (fingers crossed)! I would love to show you how to cook mostly light, quick and super delicious Mediterranean meals that fit your busy lifestyle!
