We live in a small space and oftentimes have long winters in New England. When my kids were toddlers one of them was very energetic. I learned quickly to find ways to cope.

I learned how to transform my living room into a mini-gym with a moment's notice. I had a mini trampoline that folded flat, a sit and spin and a Little Tykes basketball hoop for instant action.

We also used the long, narrow hallway of our house for fun. I purchased a foam-coated bowling set and we had our own bowling alley. We also opened the doors at both ends of the hallway and shot foam stomp rockets bringing fun and exercise indoors.
