I smile.
I hug.
I help.
I laugh.
I feel good.
I cook.
I clean.
I launder.
I drive.
I watch.
I teach.
I guide.
I motivate.
I encourage.
I feel tired.
I lean out.
I lean back in.
I seek balance.
I feel overwhelmed.
I break.
I become unsteady.
I bewilder.
I feel pushed to my limit.
I am frustrated.
I complain.
I yell.
I rush.
I am impatient.
I lack empathy.
I am reactive.
I screw up.
I feel guilt.
I beat myself up.
I worry.
I fear.
I cry.
I feel all the things.
I feel challenged.
But, I also feel capable.
And then...
I smile.
I hug.
I help.
I laugh.
And, I feel good, once again.
This is motherhood, a few words at a time.
