Or just as likely, we’ve got questions and you’ve got answers.

At 28 weeks 6 days, I was admitted to Vanderbilt University Hospital for serve preeclampsia. My blood pressure had reached to 200/110. After 2 days of trying to keep my blood pressure down, it spiked back up again. I had to have an emergency c section at 29 weeks 1 day and on January 1, 2016 9:21am Eli Bentley came into the world. He weighed only 2lbs 7oz and was 15.5 inches long. After 2 months in the NICU, we finally brought our little baby home. I've learned as a parent that practically nothing goes as planned. I never planned on having him that early. I never thought that with my first baby, we would spend even a day in the NICU. Let alone 2 months. Eli has taught me that I have to go with the flow. He also has taught me that each day is a blessing. There will be good days and bad days, but at the end of the day I still have this handsome little man in my arms. The picture I have chosen is the first time I held Eli. He was 1 week old.
