Have a few favorite grocery stores/produce stands that you go to on a regular as well as at the same time. I work 3rd shift and I love to go on weekdays right after work (@8:30am). They know my face and remind me what is going to be on sale and what is about to be off of sale.
I also LOVE to by salmon and ask if they could place it in a cooking pan tin (for free) so that all I have to do is take it home, clean, season and place in the oven. When I am done there is zero worries about cleaning an extra pan. *Don't for get to have your salmon proportioned by the butcher and if desired the skin sliced off before he measures on the scale.
