Sally Clarkson loves to find beauty in life and to celebrate the joy of simple moments with her friends and family. If you stopped by her real house, she would brew up a pot of tea or coffee, relax and visit with you on her front porch.
A beloved writer, Sally has authored 24 books and crafted thousands of messages on her blog, SallyClarkson.com. Additionally, through her podcast, At Home With Sally & Friends, which has more than 15 million downloads, she acts as a companion to women as a voice of encouragement and inspiration. Out of a deep well of sympathy and compassion, her heart longs for others to know and feel the endless, generous, unconditional love of God.
Flourishing as a woman is a repeated message that flows through Sally’s seasoned life and experience of walking with God for more than 50 years. Her best friends are her husband, Clay, and her adult children, Sarah, Joel, Nathan and Joy, as well as her wonderful grandchildren. Her golden retriever, Darcy, is seen soaking up attention amidst it all.
For more than 28 years, Sally and Clay have been in the parenting ministry, selling over 1 million books. They have spoken at parenting conferences to tens of thousands of women through the years.
All four of their adult children are also authors, and are intentional in bringing messages of hope to give light to their world—Sarah is the author of seven books and holds a Masters of Theology from Oxford; Joel is a graduate of Berklee College of Music in Boston, where he was named Composer of the Year, and a composer and author who is now finishing a Ph.D. in Theology from St. Andrews University; Nathan, is a filmmaker, author of seven books, a podcaster and actor living in New York City; and Joy just finished her Ph.D. in Theology from St. Andrews University, has a popular podcast and is also a publisher, author and teacher.
Sally lives between the stunning mountains of Colorado and the charming cobbled roads of Oxford, England.
