I started a blog to track my journey as I took on my first pregnancy with the added bonus of running. I was training for the Southern California Ragnar and competed at 27 weeks pregnant. I monitored my food, discussed running ups and downs, and shared some of my husband’s recipes. It was so motivating to share my own fitness journey throughout pregnancy and prove that it CAN be done!
Our little guy was born in early July full-term, but ended uphaving a full-body infection. He has been treated with the most extreme measures and everyday has been a battle. I took my story, and started sharing it. There’s thousands of NICU parents in this world; our voices should be heard.
