Or just as likely, we’ve got questions and you’ve got answers.

We're Dan and Scott, the guys from Platter Talk. Together, we raise six boys and a cantankerous nine pound chilhauhau named Buddy Guy. As a couple of working parents who have all the usual responsibilities in life we also have to think about putting food on the table for a half a baseball team of growing boys. We started Platter Talk as a fun past time. Over the past three years we've posted nearly 500 recipes from family favorites to recreated classics of the masters like Thomas Keller, Patricia Wells, Julia Child, and many more.

Through it all, we've been fortunate to be regular guests on a couple of morning shows, out of Green Bay Wisconsin. It's always a lot of work to prepare for these shows but we love cooking in front of the cameras and we always have a great time in the kitchen with our hosts. We would love for one of our next appearances to be on TODAY.

Here's the link to our very first segment, shot almost two years ago. It's our Chilled Blueberry Soup. See the full post here, Since then, we've done many, many more - both in the studio and from our own kitchen with the crew coming to our home.

We love to get the kids involved too. In fact, they've dubbed themselves as The Platter Talk Kids. The name seems to have stuck. They've helped us out on our television appearances a time or two, but they've also done quite a few of their own posts for Platter Talk. Here is one of my favorites, from ten year old twins Nate and Asher, The Platter Talk Kids. See the full post here.

Much of what the food we make on Platter Talk is handed down from generations before us. This past holiday season, Scott's beautiful Mom was with us for a couple of weeks. A resourceful woman who raised seven kids on her own while working three jobs, her youngest son learned much of what he knows in the kitchen from this lady. Here are the two of them putting together an old family favorite, Mom's Easy Chicken and Biscuits.

We had a lot of fun this this past holiday season, showing the folks on Good Day Wisconsin how simple it is to make Golumpki (Stuffed Cabbage.) We're super proud of our Golumpki recipe which holds the top spot on Google's search engine ranking. Take a look at us here, as we put some Golumpki appetizers together for the holidays.

We've even shot on live television outside, a time or two, at the studio and at our home. Here we are grilling some of our Jerked Beef on the weather deck at Good Day Wisconsin!

We try to incorporate videos into our posts as much as possible. You can find all of our YouTube videos here.

We genuinely enjoy cooking on television. We show up prepared and ready to engage our hosts and have a good time throughout the process. Creating good food is our passion, sharing it with our friends and family is our pleasure. We would love the opportunity to be guests on TODAY! We're Dan and Scott, The Platter Talk Guys.
