Parents, you’ve got questions, we’ve got answers.

Or just as likely, we’ve got questions and you’ve got answers.

I think we can all agree that this pandemic has brought out the worst in people.

I’ve seen more hate, and bitterness, and blame, and picking sides than I really care to ever see again.

BUT it has also brought out the very best in people too.

It has brought out random acts of kindness that have saved me from losing hope completely.

I’ve watched housewives sew literally hundreds of masks to give to people they’ve never met.

I’ve had thread, and fabric, and elastic dropped off on my doorstep from neighbors so I could continue sewing masks when I ran out of supplies.

And tonight, I had money left on my porch from a complete stranger with the hopes of helping someone they will never meet.

Just when I start to think that this pandemic has sucked all the positivity and hope right out of our community, I see THIS.

This note and heartwarming donation were left on my doorstep by a complete stranger.

There’s still beauty in all this mess, friends.

Along with the fear and uncertainty, there’s still so much love and kindness out there.

And right now, when everything else seems to be falling apart in our world, I’m clinging to the brightness brought on by this complete stranger and their grand act of kindness.

Because THAT is what will get us all through this.

THAT is how we all stay together when the world seems to be pulled apart.

I think we can all agree that this pandemic has brought out the worst in people.

BUT it has also brought out the very best in people too.
