I remember the closer I got to my due date the more I tried to prepare myself. I remember thinking " I got this and I'm ready, bring on this baby boy!" Well my son, Isaiah, had other plans for us! A couple things I wished I had known: 1- exactly how much sleep I WONT be getting! They weren't kidding when they say while pregnant sleep as much as you can! 2- I wish I had known to really focus on my babies cries! trying to figure out what each cry means was harder than I thought but I firmly believe if I had learned more before, I would have gotten it down quicker! 3- I wosh I had known the emotions I would feel after having the baby were as intense as they were those first 6 weeks post partum!  One thing I did know..... There's not great love than a mother and her new baby!!!!!
