When my son insisted on being an egg for Halloween, my DIY skills jumped into action! I started with a paper mache balloon and went from there. My daughter agreed to be the chicken, so I covered her in boas and made some feet out of rubber gloves. We therefore solved the long standing debate, the chicken definitely came before the egg.
