Or just as likely, we’ve got questions and you’ve got answers.

The Beautiful, Hilarious Age of Reenactment

When my triplets were babies everything was a survival-mode blur, and we did our best to get that “perfect family shot” at every special occasion. We failed beautifully time and time again, with my husband almost dropping a baby and my judgmental stare being caught in the moment at their baptism.

Now that they’re eight, we’re having a blast recreating those hilarious moments with them.

Nearly 8 years to the day of their baptism, the boys just received their first Holy Communion and we can’t stop laughing at the comparison.

I always feared growing out of the baby/toddler phase, but parents rest-assured, this fun new age of inquisitive, hilarious, creative big kids is so rewarding in so many new ways. You will look back and laugh one day, and you will love the perfectly imperfect-ness of it all.
