Betty White was gutsy.

Hilarious.

Betty made us laugh like hell.

She could also make us cry because her stage range was limitless.

We all welcomed her into our homes with open arms.

Her career spanned decades as her first role came in 1939.

Betty loved animals and was a voice for the voiceless.

She was a pioneer for women on stage.

Betty was the definition of fierce.

She was a trailblazer that changed the world.

An American icon.

Her zest for life was unmatched.

She was the definition of cool.

An example of kindness.

Ninety-nine years of life radiated with joy.

And that was her greatest gift to us all.

She was a joy to watch.

Everyone loved Betty White because she was pure joy.

America's grandmother is gone, but she's legendary.

Thank you for being a friend, Betty.
