Parents, you’ve got questions, we’ve got answers.

Or just as likely, we’ve got questions and you’ve got answers.

Spoiler Alert.
It’s ok to have an off day.

Right now is a super weird time.
We’re all navigating the unknown.

Quarantined to our homes.
Kids amped up on sugar, lackluster schedules and bottled up energy.

Working solely through the support of spotty technology- if we’re lucky enough to still be working.

Schooling... oh Dear Lord the homeschooling.

Attempting to find normalcy.

If you deal with any sort of anxiety, add that bag of fun into the mix.
Not knowing what’s happening next.
Not understanding what’s going on.
Not being able to see your loved ones.
Not being able to escape.
Feeling claustrophobic in your own home.
Watching the world struggle.

I find my outlet in laughter.
It makes me feel better.
I hope I’m able to pass that along to you occasionally.
It’s important to smile and laugh.

But even the most positive of people can have an unusual and off day here and there. Especially right now.

Cut yourself some slack.
Mindset is a beautiful thing.
Control your controllables.

I’ve said it before and I’ll continue to say it again and again...

Stop.
And breathe.
Reset.
And breathe.
You are not alone.
Be ok with the off day.
And have a better day tomorrow.

Love & Hugs,

Nicki, Momming all the Boys
