Move Kids, Get Off The Bus

It’s the last day before school let’s out

for summer vacay, better rush all about

gotta make it to the gym for assembly

and that super thoughtful pre-school Mother’s Day tea

and while it’s just so sweet and stuff

all the moms in their heads are like

“That’s enough!”

Cause mama and daddy got ish to do

like work, teacher gifts and some kale to chew

but half-days, jammy days, I digress

costume day, don’t forget the princess dress!

on Wednesday AM you had better show up

cause it’s kindergarden’s show-off-reader’s-cup

it’s like the school think’s that we’re enrolled, too

and when we’re not there, we be getting emails boo

buy this, pack that

too much, fudge that

so what I wanna say is on the contrary

all the mama’s and daddy’s thinkin’ it anyway so,

move kids, get off the bus

get off the bus kids, get off the bus

summer’s starting and it’s gonna be a break for all of us.

Word to your mother. OMG who’s excited to NOT set the alarm for 6am tomorrow?!?!??!?!?!?!?
