I was born with beta thalassmia. People with the most severe form of thalassemia require frequent blood transfusions to live. My husband and I adopted three daughters with the same disorder. We all get transfusions every 3 weeks. We decided to raise a little awareness and have a lot of fun with our Halloween costumes this year! #donateblood #blooddonorsareheroes #thalassemia
