We all remember the time when our parents strapped us up with our first pair of water wings. I remember being at the JCC wearing my water wings and afraid to jump off the diving board.

Thank goodness though for those water wings as they saved my life while I tried to swim and many other children's lives throughout the years. This is my opinion although the Red Cross begs to differ as giving kids too much confidence and then throwing them into the water to swim is like giving a Chihuahua a chance to play with a Pit Bull without it expecting to get injured in some opinions.

There are other great products that have come out through the years and one of those that I have personally seen and admired is Glass Pool Fencing. This is a safety fence that doesn't look like that ragged mesh fencing that destroys the look of your pool but rather an invisible panel feel that allows you to see your children and pets while also protecting them from running into the pool when you are not looking.

The picture above is courtesy of Aquaview Pool Fencing this as you can see visually is just stunning. It's great to protect your family with high quality products. Safety covers are another great addition along with great tips from the Pool Safely Organization. Some are cheap and others are more expensive but there is no price you can put on a saved life.
