Or just as likely, we’ve got questions and you’ve got answers.

One of the most challenging times of the year is when school season rolls around. We expect our children to jump right into a routine that they have not had for at least 2 months or at all. It takes time for children and adults to adjust to being back in school. In the beginning of the school year I would encourage parents to be very patient with your children as they adjust to school life. Starting your day happy will greatly influence you child's day. My wife and I have 3 children ages 6, 3, and 1. We had our daughter in pre-school since 3 and we noticed that the start of our mornings will greatly influence her day.

As parents juggling multiple things and children, it gets a bit overwhelming but we have to try to maintain a positive attitude around them. It takes weeks and sometimes months for children to adjust to the school routine. Lots of love, laughter, and even rewards will create an environment for adjustment and yes even mistakes. We are not perfect and neither are they. Remember we were all kids at some point. Children love happiness and laughter, create that around them. Be patient and be happy!
