The preschool system I work for includes a wing for sick child care staffed by nurses to support working moms and dads during the mild illnesses of early childhood. It's a relaxing wellness based environment with cool stuff for kids to do, and lots of freedom to chill and just watch kid's videos (if that's all they feel up to) while the nurse cares for and loves on them! "The Get Well Place" is open to the community too, so you don't have to go to preschool here to enjoy the benefit of the sick child care. It's reasonably priced - and free for staff children!

Forget the parental guilt - the kids are the ones who want to come back next time they are under the weather!
