Or just as likely, we’ve got questions and you’ve got answers.

As a mama of five - I know about mess.

Dumped bins of teeny tiny pieces of plastic. Spilled gallons of milk. Crayon scribbles all over the walls. And poop, poop everywhere.

But it really is true, there's no use crying over spilled milk, or anything else that spreads itself all over.

I've come to a beautifully profound revelation about mess in my home. Here it is:

A mess is not a problem because a mess can be cleaned up.

I can think of a million other things that are serious parenting problems, but a mess? We already know the solution to that, so it's hardly a problem in the first place.

A mess can be cleaned up. Perhaps not today, not even tomorrow, but let's aim for a clean-up sesh within a week or two, and poof, the problem is gone (for now at least).

But really, let's not stress about the spills. The seconds are just too sacred. So go ahead and steal my sticky note saying - post it everywhere and say it with me parents...

A mess is not a problem!
