Parents, you’ve got questions, we’ve got answers.

Or just as likely, we’ve got questions and you’ve got answers.

My friend, if you don't hear from me, know that I am thinking of you.

I am just so tired.

My eyes are heavy, along with my heart and my mind.

The end of the day comes, and I am mentally and physically drained.

It is not that I do not want to talk to you.

I do.

I want to hear your laugh.

I want to listen to your stories.

I want to hear you cry if you need to.

I am just so tired.

I give of myself to everyone else from sunrise to sundown.

When 9 p.m. rolls around, I do not want to give anymore.

I want to sit.

Alone.

I want to read.

Alone.

I want to watch trash T.V.

Alone.

I am just so tired.

Having to engage in anything besides sitting on my couch makes me feel even more exhausted.

Relationships take work. We all know this.

But we are all so tired.

So tried of 2020.

So tired of the anxiety.

So tired of the things we have no control over.

So tired of all the decisions.

I am just so tired.

I know you are too.

My friend, if you don't hear from me, know that I am thinking of you.
