​nearly 45 years ago I brought home my first born child, a little girl. She was and still is beautiful. I wish I'd known how much babies eat. I was a nursing mom with a hungry baby.  When her brother was born 18 months later I knew a little cereal in his milk (expressed and put in a bottle) held him long enough for us both to get rest.
