Parents, you’ve got questions, we’ve got answers.

Or just as likely, we’ve got questions and you’ve got answers.

My daughter,Kathryn, graduated Mary Washington College - Summa Cum Laude in May 2020. There has never been a graduation ceremony of any kind for the Class of 2020. It was rescheduled three times- for obvious reasons- and we all understood. However, even though the students had purchased caps and gowns they have yet to be able to wear them- not even in a virtual graduation. They missed out on the traditional Senior Week activities and being able to “walk” from the clock tower to graduation. These are just a few of the “Rites of Passage” they had looked forward to for 4 years. My heart breaks for those students. A year later, all have moved on and they will certainly be a class to remember for all they have endured.

Way to go all 2020 graduates, you have not been forgotten and we are so proud of all your efforts during this unique time in history!8d48a5d42bdecfabc78792a1fffcc797b07be8e3.jpeg
