I’m a good mom; a daughter; a wife.
I’m a Sunday School teacher.
A warrior. A sister.
A follower of Christ.
I get messy and I get fancy.
I’m fragile but strong.
I wear nursing tanks and elastic.
I run late but push on.
I trust God, and I depend on His help.
I love my family, and I need time alone.
I see a doctor to feel well.
I make time to take care of myself.
I’m smart. I laugh.
I can get overwhelmed.
But there’s so much more to me that makes me who I am.
Friends, we can’t let our struggles define us. God reminds us where our identity is found.
I’m not a label to print on a bottle.
I’ve got nothing shameful to hide.
We need to lift our voices and each other.
We’re not drowning; we’ve got a way out.
Please listen to me as your friend, because I want to make sure you know.
I battle anxiety, too. And we don’t have to face it alone.
This little bottle has my name on it.
But it doesn’t say who I am.
