If you love someone, make room for them.

But not just for them,

for their opinions,

idiosyncrasies,

differences.

Make room at your table and in your heart for someone who doesn’t

look,
think,
act,
learn,
work,
love,
or pray

like you.

Make room for their beliefs, morals, hopes and dreams.

Make room for respect, patience, understanding, and compassion. They all need a seat at the table.

If you love someone, make room for them, and if you don’t love someone, well, perhaps it’s because you haven’t made room for them.

Food for thought. Let’s all digest that.
