Parents, you’ve got questions, we’ve got answers.

Or just as likely, we’ve got questions and you’ve got answers.

I can remember one of my Civic Studies classes when i was young. The teacher defined a family as the smallest social unit in the society. The teacher, Uncle Jimmy, went further to say the family comprises of a father, mother and children.

That is the culturally accepted definition of a family.

However, as i have grown up, i now know that a family is more diverse than that definition. So much more.

To start with, yes, my wife and kids are my direct nuclear family. However, my closes buddies are also considered members of my family.

My uncles, aunties, cousins, grandpa, grandma, are all members of my my family.

My tiny house meetup group members are family to me too.

My colleagues at work....family too.

My church members.....ditto

Heck, as long as you are in this world, you are welcome to be a family member of mine.

In summary, family, to me, is everyone in this world....and that is the sincere truth.
