Christmas is probably one of our families most favorite holidays. After many years of stress-filled holidays we finally made the decision a few years ago that we were actually going to enjoy the special time and relax throughout the season.

We first do a family communion at our church on Christmas Eve followed by a dinner of comfort foods. Once dinner is over we play the White Elephant gift game which consist of a hilarious assortment of gag gifts. We then open Grandma and Grandpa’s gifts. This is followed by a Christmas movie and lots of memorable chatter of Christmas past.

We began Christmas morning with a family breakfast followed by our own families presents being exchanged. After a few years of not celebrating Santa, we now once celebrate with our newest member of the family....Noah, 9 years old. The day is spent with family time, lots of photos, and great food.

Leading up to Christmas Eve and Christmas Day we volunteer with Operation Christmas Shoebox by preparing boxes to be sent to children all over the word. We adopt numerous families to sponsor at Christmas and allow Noah to choose these children’s gifts. We attend local festivities in town as they are offered. We thoroughly enjoy just attending and feeling the festiveness!

No stress is our motto and we have learned to enjoy each moment as we celebrate Christ birthday.
